Hello! I'm Ana Sofía, a Colombian illustrator based in London.

My background combines an MA in Illustration with Distinction from University of the Arts London (UAL) and a BA in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia.

I have over five years of experience in commercial illustration, working across both digital and traditional media on commissioned projects and collaborations. I also develop and lead drawing and painting classes and workshops in London.

My artistic practice explores memory, identity, and emotional landscapes through portraiture. Working primarily with coloured pencils and graphite, I draw from personal and family narratives to reflect on everyday acts of care and the traces left by the Colombian armed conflict. My practice has also extended into art-based peacebuilding initiatives in Colombia.
