Chelita

A portrait series of Chelita, a close family friend who was part of my childhood in Colombia. Through portraiture and scenes of domestic life, the drawings reflect on memory, care and Colombian identity. Focusing on the routines, objects and spaces of her everyday life, the series approaches the familiar with attention and affection.
